Now available to hire, Sony’s new PXW-Z100 which uses their new Exmor R™ CMOS sensors capable of recording in 4K (4096 x 2160) 60fps or 50fps, it does all this whilst keeping its weight under 3 kg even with a 4K-compatible high-performance G lens™ mounted. The recording format of the PXW is XAVC, which was first used in the PMW-F55 digital cinema camera. As with the F55, 4K 60p 4:2:2 10-bit recording is possible at a high bit rate of 500Mbps or 600 Mbps. QFHD (3840 x 2160) and HD (1920 x 1080) resolutions, which have high compatibility with 4K TVs.

The PMW-200 is the successor to Sony’s well respected PMW-EX1/R camcorder which supports the 50 Mbps MPEG HD422 codec and MXF recording. It is a good companion to the PMW-500 XDCAM HD422 shouldermount camera. With its three 1/2-inch Full HD Exmor CMOS sensor (1920×1280), the PMW-200 is able to achieve high resolution (1000 TVl), high sensitivity (F11@2000 lx), low noise (56 dB), and wide dynamic range. The PMW-200 can be used for both SD and HD applications. It can be set to record 50 Mbps MPEG HD422 as MXF files on UDF formatted cards just like the PMW-500 memory camcorder or the PDW-700/F800 optical disc based camcorders. Or you can set the camcorder for FAT mode recording to shoot SxS cards which are compatible with the XDCAM EX format made by the PMW-EX1/R or PMW-320/350. The PMW-EX3 compact camcorder with an interchangeable lens system incorporates three 1/2 inch type Exmor Full HD CMOS sensors, each with an effective pixel cont of 1920 x 1080, delivering stunning quality HD images HD resolutions. A rich variety of features for creative shooting are incorporated into this camcorder. Additionally, the PMW-EX3 offers a convenient remote control and multi-camera operation capability, which allows use with high-end camera systems. To maximise recording time, the PMW-EX3 has two memory card slots.

The PMW-300K1 XDCAM camcorder is equipped with three 1/2-inch Exmor™ full-HD CMOS sensors, capable of delivering high-quality images even in low-light environments. Ample support for interchangeable lens and a robust metal body further ensure that PMW-300K1 is suitable for a wide range of applications. Additionally, the PMW-300K1 offers a convenient remote-control and multi-camera operation capability, which allows use with high-end camera systems.

The Panasonic AW-HE120 combines outstanding image quality, super smooth and almost silent 350 degrees pan and 250 degrees tilt, with auto or manual focus 20x zoom operation. The camera supports 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576i and 576p formats and can simultaneously output both HD and SD signals. The AW-HE120 is 60% smaller and lighter than its predecessor the AW-HE100.

The HSC-100 incorporates digital triax technology and is equipped with sophisticated 16-bit A/D conversion circuitry as well as superb three 2/3-inch CCDs to bring out a high level of picture quality over conventional digital triax infrastructures. The camera also has a built-in high-quality down-convertor for superior SD images, as standard.

The HXC-100 HD/SD System Camera equipped with newly developed digital triax technology, which allows systems to be configured with conventional triax. The HXC-100 camera supports versatile applications for HD with a high-quality SD output. It uses the latest 14-bit A/D conversion circuit as well as the superb 2/3-inch Power HAD FX CCDs to bring out high picture quality.

Together with the highly compact 1.5 RU HXCU-100 Camera Control Unit and a remote control panel from Sony, the HXC-100 camera offers a fairly simple system. With a variety of beneficial functions packed into the camera, such as its Focus Assist function, the HXC-100 provides genuine user-friendliness.
